Curriculum and Content

Curriculum Specialist (Full-time)

Attention language sticklers and grammar nerds: We're hiring former English teachers and/or test prep specialists to be an integral part of NoRedInk's Curriculum Team. Are you a great writer? Daily Responsibilities

  • Helping us expand our grammar curriculum, using your pedagogical expertise to create new categories, do research, and make important decisions about what we measure and how we measure it
  • Creating scalable and engaging content within our engine, helping a massive number of students, teachers, and parents all over the world. You'll also train a team of freelancers using your knowledge of our system; you'll be the point person responsible for making sure all our content is top-notch
  • Answering customer service emails, crafting responses to common issues, documenting and relaying problems to our management/technical team, and working on ways to cut down on support requests
  • Writing copy for the site (our newsletter, FAQ, help page, blog, testimonials page, etc.)
  • Performing "quality control" on sentences and formulas that users have flagged
  • Helping with various types of "growth hacking" to help the company reach important milestones

About You

  • You have at least 2 years of teaching experience. Ideally, you've taught middle or high school English
  • You're incredibly organized, and you're great at creating organizational systems to manage complex tasks
  • You're tech savvy and a Mac lover

Inside Sales Representative

We’re looking for an inside sales professional with a knack for closing deals. Thousands of schools and districts have applied for subscriptions to our Premium service. Your job will be to understand our product inside and out, demonstrate its benefits to a variety of educational stakeholders, and convert interested parties into satisfied clients. The primary focus is sales (though not cold calling), but you’ll also work on customer service and account management so you can get a comprehensive view of our customer ecosystem.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Explaining and demonstrating key product features over e-mail and by phone
  • Providing exceptional service during and after the sales process
  • Cultivating empathy for the needs of our customers
  • Responding quickly and helpfully to a variety of customer requests

About You

  • You have a degree from a four-year college or university
  • You have at least 1-2 years of SaaS sales experience
